Growing up
As a teenager entering High school I had always been an athletic child, so when I had learned that my high school had a football team I immediately joined. being only 140lbs and naturally a "hard gainer" I didnt have many options for positions. So thus began my "fitness journey" I entered the weight room and got out of my comfort zone and started to lift weights to put on more muscle. My father was an accomplished boxer and military soldier so he had taught me many nutrition and fitness techniques and with in 2 years I had gone from 140lbs to 165lbs. Finishing my senior year of high school football at 170lbs and winning my teams MVP defensive back award as well as my leagues All-star defensive back award and settling multiple records, including most interceptions in a single game & season.

Obstacles
After I was done playing football and graduated I started competing in brazilian jiu jitsu and grappling tournaments, after winning regional and provincial tournaments I decided to compete in MMA and mauy thai kick boxing. After competing in several muay thai kickboxing bouts and MMA fights I had been looked at by a physician who informed me that a injury to my head sustained in my youth would prevent me from competing any more in MMA or Muay Thai kickboxing. After a whirlwind of confusion and self doubt I came to the conclusion that i could no longer sit around and wallow, I started doing research into competing in a Mens Physique competition. I had always been amazed by the dedication it took to acquire such physiques and so began my new passion.
